Refund Policy

In the Makids team we hope we have met your expectations and that you are satisfied with our products. However, if for any reason you wish to make a return, please see our policy below.


By buying from us, you are agreeing to all of the following conditions: 


Our policy lasts for 30 days. If 30 days have passed since the order was received, unfortunately we cannot offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in its original packaging.

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable items such as food, flowers, newspapers or magazines cannot be returned. We also do not accept products that are intimate or sanitary goods, hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases.

Additional non-returnable products:
- Gift cards
- Downloadable software products
- Some health and personal care products

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
Do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

There are some situations where only partial refunds can be guaranteed: (if applicable)
- Books with obvious signs of use
- CDs, DVDs, VHS tapes, software, video games, cassette tapes, or vinyl records that have been opened.
- Any item that is not in its original condition, that is damaged or is missing parts for reasons beyond our control.
- Any item that is returned more than 14 days after shipment.

Non-returnable items include items purchased through retailers, incorrect products purchased, and products damaged due to customer misuse.

Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain number of days.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven't received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your bank/credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Sale items (if applicable)
Only regular priced items can be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

Trades (if applicable)
We will only replace items that are found to be faulty or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, please email us at with the following information:

- Order number

- Proof of purchase

- Video or photo of the product to be returned (used as evidence to be able to refund or replace the product).

- Full shipping address

- Phone number

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you will receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once we receive the item, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item was not marked as a gift when purchased, or if the donor received the order for shipping later, we will issue a refund to the buyer and they will know of your return.

You will be responsible for paying the shipping costs to return the item. Shipping costs are not refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of shipping and return will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it takes to receive your exchanged product may vary.

If you are shipping an item over €75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We do not guarantee that we will receive your returned item.


We allow you to cancel or modify the data of an order within 12 hours of purchase. Please note that after 12 hours our products have been packed and ready for dispatch, so we will not be able to change the details of your order.
